I think that art is something that you make, or craft from other things. Something that takes time or thought to create and not something thrown together at the last minute. I think it includes photographs, sculptures, drawings, paintings, dancing, acting etc. I think that it excludes things that don't involve things like that, or things that you just put together.

Worldview- American Pie

1. God and the Universe- Everyone is in control of themselves. They think that it was created but then God left them.
2. Humanity and Identity- Their nature is to just live their lives how they want because they believe that there is nothing after death. They are only material. Since they believe that God left them, that think they have all the power in the world.
3. Conflict and Suffering- The day that the music died, or the guy that made the music died is the starting point of conflict. The universe is flawed because the music died and God left them.
4. Hope and Redemption- Since they don't believe in God, the answer to the human struggle is death. They don't have hope for tomorrow.
5. Values and Relationships- They value music in their lives.
6. Truth and Knowledge- What is true is that the guy that made music died.

The Wizard of Oz v.s. Narnia

The reality in the Wizard of Oz is that it is really a dream. Dorothy is dreaming the whole thing while she is unconscious. The reality in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is that it is an alternate reality or world that people can travel back and forth between. The difference is that with Dorothy, time passes while she is unconscious and dreaming. Life does not stop, it keeps going on, it does not wait for her to become conscious again. But while the children are in Narnia, their real world is paused. When Lucy first discovers Narnia she is hiding in the closet that leads to it while her siblings are counting during a game of hide and go seek. She spends the day with Mr. Tumness and expects to come back to her siblings wondering where she had disappeared to. But when she gets back, her siblings are still counting as if her real world had been paused until she returned to it.

The Demon Mammon

The demon Mammon, was the last demon that fell from Heaven. his name means welath. He was always looking down at the ground in Heaven and not looking at God or thinking about Him. He was more concerned with the riches of Heaven then with anything else. Also, by his suggestion, men started to hunt for treasure on earth. He was the leader of a crew that dug out ribs of gold from a hill.
